Read more Manager Jim would not honor my refund on a bike I purchased on 11/13/2018, had time to go back to store on 11/28/2018. had issues with my bike, being the first bike purchase, last bike was bmx 15 years ago. I had bad fitting, long torso, short legs, bought a Marin Nicasio LE 2018 54cm, turned out to be bad fitting, less than 15 miles I had neck, back, knee, elbow pain. I also had mechanical problems with the front derailleur. I kept dropping the chain, and since the chain was being dropped while I was riding, my crank arms got scratched. I did not notice this and when i returned it Jim found the scratches and immediately said that the bike was "used" and would not allow me to return it, no refund, no credit, no gift card. He did offer me a exchange, but there were only regular priced bike, no specials, and I got my bike on special, I would not be willing to buy a bike at full price. Jim did lie to me several times, and shut me up quickly when I would bring up what he told me, giving me a partial refund, nothing, would not honor 30 day money satisfaction. For anyone buying a bike for the first time, do not buy at performance bike, it's horrible, better LBS or REI.
