Vanmoof S Series Chained (2016)

The 2016 Vanmoof S Series Chained is a city bike. Well appointed, the S rolls on big 28" wheels, governed by Shimano's Alfine 8-speed internal gearing, slowed by small-rotor mechanical disc brakes, and clad in smooth-rolling semi-slicks. The frame integrates front and rear lights, powered by a hub dynamo, and a chain; the chain stores within the frame when not needed, and locks directly to the frame when in use. More traditional accessories make the S a good bike for the all-season commuter, including a chain cover and full fenders.
