Storm’s racy 27.2mm seatpost increases rider comfort due to flex in the seatpost. This also allows the seat tube to have extra carbon lay-up thickness for increased strength, without becoming bulky and overweight.
The tubing profiles accentuate lateral stiffness around the head tube area, while the rear triangle resists torsional flex while remaining vertically supple. This layout creates a ride that is responsive, laterally stiff, yet at the same time keeping the rider in touch with terrain feedback and helping to absorb the bigger impacts by using selected tubing profiles and clever carbon layup processes.
