The new Shimano XTR Rapidfire plus shifting levers for the Dyna-Sys 10-speed drivetrain technology. The construction with four bearings provides ultra smooth and extremely precise shifting operation. Fast and versatile handling is guaranteed by Instant-release, Multi-release and 2-Way-Release.
Instant Release allows for quicker shifts, as it instantly releases the cable when the trigger is activated. Multi-Release allows shifting two gears at once in both directions.
Also the levers are equiped with 2-Way Release for different riding styles or shifting (indexfinger or thumb) from various riding positions. The upper lever still performs the same function, but now it swings both ways. Pull it with your finger or push it with your thumb - you choose.
Because of the Mode-Converter the XTR Rapidfire Plus shifting levers can be used in combination with 2-speed or 3-speed front derailleurs.
