Minoura RDA2429-D／RDA2429-R

This model is a further development of the RDA trainer. The frame is extended to accept 29x2.5”tires and the rollers are re-shaped to make them fit most disc brake specific rims. The standard RDA rim trainer requires at least 8mm vertical flat area on the rim sides, for contact with the rubber roller. With disc brake specific rims there is usually no flat anywhere, therefore the rubber rollers on the RDA2429 have been re-shaped to allow usage on most of these un-usually shaped rims.
There is one very good reason why road racers should use the RDA trainers. If you use the RDA for warming-up and cooling-down at a race event, you do not have to worry about wearing out your expensive racing tires. That makes the RDA ideal for competitive road racers.
