The 2017 Merida Scultura Disc 4000 Juliet is a mid-range road bike. Right in the sweet spot, the 4000 balances performance and expense, offering an aggressive, responsive road racer at a reasonable price. The build includes Shimano's workhorse road group, 105, paired with the RS505 road-specific hydraulic disc brakes for fingertip control in the pack or on the descent, Merida's own light, tough Comp 22 wheelset, and fast-rolling Continental Ultras. An all-carbon frameset provides nimble handling and efficient power transfer.
