The 2017 Merida eSpresso Sport 600 is an electric-assist hybrid bike. Great for the most occasional of riders, the 600 is equipped beyond the usual accoutrements: its bottom bracket houses a quiet, instant-on electric Shimano Steps motor. The rechargeable battery is mounted low on the down tube, keeping the bike stable and offering loads of power, certainly enough to get home from an evening's outing in the city. Kit includes sure-stopping disc brakes, quick Shimano gearing, and fast-rolling, broad Continental tires.
