The 2017 Merida Cyclo Cross 500 is a mid-range cyclocross bike. Its aluminum frame is paired with a carbon fork for a fast, responsive ride, ready to rip the course. Kit is commensurate: componentry includes Shimano's clean-shifting, reliable 105 drivetrain, Tektro's powerful Spyre mechanical disc brakes, and Merida's 'cross-specific wheelset, the last providing a tough, true platform for the Maxxis Mud Wrestler treads. A surprisingly light build with a flashy, highly mud-tolerant color scheme.
