Hydro II is our second generation engineered shape tubeset which provides lighter weight tubing with similar strength and ride qualities as the previous generation. Women’s Fit Geometry: Women's Fit Geometry means that the frame design, and/or component choices, have been made specifically for female riders on Marin road, mountain and pavement bikes. Each style of bike has key changes made to the riding position that take into account the physical attributes of women riders, including leg, torso and arm length differences, as well as the shape of the saddles and the distance from the handlebar to the shifters and brake levers. These changes enhance stand-over clearance as well as place the rider in perfect pedaling position, with optimum distance between the saddle and handlebar, grip placement in relation to shoulder width, and pelvic bone dimensions. These differences add up to a bike, and riding experience, that melds rider and bike together into a single moving force. They bring comfort, and control to the rider, without sacrificing performance, and fun. |
