The over-sized blades and leading axle dropout of the Laser fork assures it will
be up to the task of getting there and back safely.
Instead of chrome-plating the steel rims of the 16" Laser, which has harsh
environmental effects, we powder coat them. This protects the rims with a
coating that is remarkably tough, looks great and is environmentally friendly.
The Laser's full-length & full ring-wrap chainguard keep clothes & legs cleanly
and safely out of the way of the chain.
Those knobby BMX tires look cool & grip good in the dirt, but they also feature
a rounded profile that rolls smoothly on neighborhood streets & driveways.
We build our smaller Laser wheels with 28 spokes in a 3-cross lacing pattern
for a strong & durable wheel.
Our 4-bolt alloy stem and 520mm width steel BMX handlebars are stout &
tough.
If a steel or alloy part is not painted or anodized, we protect it with a black
electro-plating which enhances the corrosion resistance of that part. The satin
sheen of the finish looks good too.
Every 16" Laser offers stabilizing training wheels that assist the young rider in
learning how to pedal, steer and balance a bike for the first time. The training
wheel support struts attach securely both to the rear hub axle and the frame
itself so that the training wheels don’t rotate out of plane wit the rear wheel,
resulting in a tip or spill.
Every 16" Laser also comes equipped with a safety bell that's guaranteed to be
rung whether the new cyclist is on or off the bike. |
