FeaturesSame frame as the Exile COMP, so you get the same great handling characteristics with a tapered head tube & S-shaped down tube for increased frontal strength, and sloping curved top tube for low standover. With the maximum bending load at the front of a bike being found at the crown, a 1 1/8"-1.5" tapered head tube strengthens and stiffens the frame, while helping to reduce weight at the same time. RST's Blaze 29 fork offers magnesium lowers for light weight and 30mm stanchions for a stiff, solid ride. Alex DP20 rims feature a double-wall pinned joint construction with stainless single eyelets improving seating of the nipple head and strengthening the rim bed for a better built wheel. The Geax AKA is a versatile tire for all types of terrain with lower profile knobs in the center for low rolling resistance and side knobs directly derived from their aggressive Gato tire for grip. The Exile Sport's Shimano 24-speed drivetrain features a Shimano Acera rear derailleur, Rapid-Fire Plus shifters and a Shimano M311 42/32/22 crankset for true go-anywhere capability. Tektro Novela disc brakes stop great in all conditions & increase wheel longevity by eliminating the rim sidewall from the brake system. The Exile Comp's cockpit includes a 31.8 over-sized stem and wide flat bar for stiffer, more solid steering & handling and a 31.6mm seat post for a firmer pedaling platform. Jamis grips feature a dual compound including gel in the palm area for comfort. Our Jamis ATB Comp saddle features a long, narrow shell that offers multiple, efficient pedaling positions with a full length pressure relief channel for a more comfortable platform and strong-but-light chromoly rails.
