Features | Our Coda series Reynolds 520 double-butted chromoly frame rides smoother &
more comfortably than comparably priced aluminum framed bikes thanks to the
natural shock damping qualities of steel.
Coda's tapered unicrown fork with radiused blade steers responsively, looks
fast & sleek and the chromoly blades efficiently soak up road shock &
vibrations.
NVO Components ATS adjustable-height stem system is much lighter than
traditional angle adjustable stems, and offers a much faster and easier method
for adjusting handlebar height for more efficient and comfortable riding.
Our Jamis alloy flat handlebar bar is significantly lighter than "riser" bars often
found on street bikes. With a 25.4 bar and stem it looks sleeker & faster, too.
Vittoria's Randonneur 32c tires offer more air volume & a larger footprint to
make for a more comfortable & stable ride. They also offer increased puncture
resistance thanks to a Double Shielding casing and reflective sidewalls for
enhanced visibility at night.
Strong-but-light double wall rims from Alex, with Formula hubs and 32 stainless
steel spokes per wheel laced in a 3-cross pattern assure a reliably true &
durable wheel.
A full Shimano drivetrain ensures the quickest, most reliable shifts every time,
all the time. The 21-speed RapidFire shifting drivetrain with Shimano M171
48/38/28 crankset, Acera rear & M191 front derailleurs and 12-32 cassette
offers a much larger gear range, with much lower gearing, for easier hill climbing
than standard or compact double chainring road and street bikes.
The sealed cartridge bottom bracket & sealed headset offered on Coda Sport
improve performance and reduce maintenance.
Our Jamis Touring saddle is broader and more deeply padded than other road
saddles, but still narrow & firm enough to promote higher cadence pedaling
Tektro's V-brakes offer plenty of stopping power (and plenty of room for the
addition of fenders) with a modulator in front to ensure controlled braking.
Our new kraton dual-compound grips are anatomically shaped for increased
comfort and control. |
