Felt Bayonet 2 Steering System

Designed to optimize the aerodynamic performance of Felt’s sleek Tri/TT bikes, the Bayonet 2 steering system offers an innovative way to escape the limitations of standard fork systems. By creating a leading edge that shields the head tube from the wind, Felt engineers reduced total bike drag by more than 10 percent. The design also results in a much stiffer front end—60 percent stiffer than a normal 1-inch fork. The shielded head tube and extra deep fork legs, built with premium UHC-Nano carbon fiber material, offer a super-aero profile and razor-sharp handling. The Bayonet 2 has proven stiffer than standard 1 1/8-inch and even tapered steerer forks. The Bayonet 2 is compatible with all carbon fiber Felt Tri/TT bikes that have chainstay-mounted rear brakes. The Bayonet 2 Steering System includes everything needed for a complete plug-and-play upgrade over Bayonet 1 or standard crown forks on compatible Felt bicycles.
