Hydroform: The Hydroform manufacturing process is used to create lightweight, stiff and strong aluminum frames. With hydroforming – an internal hydraulic forming process - Felt is able to eliminate the need for gussets and can use radically shaped tubes to optimize the bike’s ride quality.
Dynoform: Felt uses Dynaform mechanical forming process to create durable, lightweight aluminum frames. Dynaform frames feature mechanically formed tubes that are specifically shaped to optimize the ride quality of this particular bike.
UHC Performance: UHC Performance is a T700-based blend of raw carbon fiber, which has a tensile strength that’s 7.9 times greater than 3/2/5 titanium and a stiffness rating that’s 3.34 times greater than 6061 aluminum. Internal Cable Routing: This indicates the use of flow-through internal cable routing. It reduces wind drag and prevents contaminants from entering and interfering with the function of brake or shifter cables. |
