The steel framed Filter is based loosely around the cyclo-cross race proven titanium Freezer, but we've adjusted the geometry to accomodate full length mudguards and racks. It's geometry is also more relaxed making it the perfect commuting machine. However make no mistakes, this is a race ready machine too, with heaps of mud clearance and top tube routed cables ( out of the way for shouldering).
Seamless butted Tange Prestige tubing keeps the frame light and responsive, whether you're racing over roots and rocks or smoothing out the potholes and canal towpaths on your daily grind. For 2012 the entry level Filter mid and Hi come fitted with fenders and the Filter Hi and more racey Hi are fitted with the disc brakes a key step forward in making these cross machines even more commuter friendly.
