| Features | Maximus Seat tube: The patented Maximus Seattube is designed so that there is a maximum contact surface between seat tube and bottom bracket shell without negatively influencing the function of the front derailleur. The oversized down tube and the oval shaped chain stays increase the level of lateral stiffness even further. One One Eight SL carbon fork: During the development of the One One Eight SL carbon fork we drew on the wealth of experience we gained from the test winning One One Four SLX fork. The result was a stiff and light fork, which, thanks to its 1 1/8 inch fork steerer, delivers optimum compatibility with most stems currently available on the market. Replaceable derailleur hanger: High-strength 3-D forged dropouts provide the best shifting accuracy and outstanding frame stiffness. In the event of a crash the frame will be protected from damages, since only the hanger has to be changed. Asymmetric saddle clamp: The super lightweight - iF product design award winning - asymmetric Canyon seat clamp only weighs 16.8g. The increased clamping surface allows a gentler clamping of the post. The clamping slot of the seat tube is covered, so the post remains protected from water and dirt. |
