Cannondale Beast of the East 2 (2016)

The 2016 Cannondale Beast of the East 2 is a mid-range trail bike. Rolling on fat 27.5+ WTB Bridger treads, the Beast has confident footing on everything from wet dirt to hardpack to gravel, with a dense tread pattern keeping speeds high on the trip to the trailhead. Beneath the tread is Cannondale's model-specific Beast rim, 50mm wide and tubeless ready. Remaining kit is solid: SRAM's single-ring GX drivetrain and Shimano's Deore discs respond capably and hold up well, no distraction from the ride.
