Buddy Bike Sport (2014)

Buddy Bike's Sport is the alternative tandem bicycle that places the stoker (smaller rider) in the front seat while the rear rider controls the steering. This light, strong aluminum tandem is the ultimate family bike and can be enjoyed by riders of most ages and abilities. The Sport offers adaptive outdoor recreation and therapeutic activity to riders who may not be able to ride a bicycle safely on their own, or who do not have the strength to pedal a bike by themselves. The Sport also has a lower front seat so both riders can safely enjoy the view and it's shorter in length than a typical tandem, making it easier to store and transport. To provide the go, a 27-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain offers a wide range of gears, while Tektro disc brakes deliver control. There’s also a rear wheel side-pull brake on the stoker’s handlebar. 26-inch wheels are tough and stable, and the Kenda tires give you solid traction and a comfortable ride. With the Buddy Bike Sport, riders with cognitive or physical disabilities can enjoy the thrill of cycling with the whole family.
