New frame for the Zoncolan 26”, the creation for the carbon hard tail mountain signed by Bottecchia. By using the same technology of the SP9, carbon monococque with double mould and UD high module carbon, we obtained the maximum lightness and stiffness. With a weight of just few grams over the kilo, we have been able to maximize the resistance by reducing the weight, compared to the traditional building methods. The new compact sloping geometry has been studied to offer the maximum sprint and agility of the front triangle, thanks to the generous dimensions of the down tube and the integrated, differentiated head tube 1” 1/8 -1” 1/2. The rear stay, where the most important stress of the bike are concentrated, has been projected again, gambling on the resistance to the side torsions by increasing 15% of stiffness and by integrating the post mount caliper 160 mm, so to eliminate the vibrations when braking strongly. Big attention to the design, to obtain a snappy and essential look with homogeneous shapes and integrating the cables. This frame has been tested and used from KM SPORT team, which takes part to the biggest national competitions and to the Italian Championship of Cross Country.
