There’s no better teacher than the experience, that’s why the Emme 2 frame, studied and projected in co-operation with the athletes of the Acqua & Sapone Professional Team, still is an excellence of maximum prominence in the bikes world. The goals and the wins reached from the pro Teams with the Emme 2, are the result of the stiffness, the technique, and the comfort typical of this bike. From the green jersey of Stefano Garzelli during the 94th Giro d’Italia, to the numerous goals on the principal competitions of the Andalucía Team, every win is the result of a continuous improvement to maximize the performance. The analysis and the test made with the athletes permitted us to reach more consciousness of the technical performance and to make minimal but essential changes.
The new 2013 Emme 2, always made in Italy with bound carbon, maintains the typical features of this frame, such us minimal weight, very high resistance and a very good stiffness so to avoid waste of strength. After a technical and aesthetic restyling, we added some improvements. The first is on the seat tube, functional and innovative, permitted us to shorten the rear stay of 6 mm, so to obtain more reactivity and 5% more strength on the rear wheel. You can see we put a big care on the details of the new frame, that responds to an even more polished and demanding public. We reshaped and strengthened the dropouts, and the internal cables give more elegance and cleanliness to the new Emme 2.These technical progresses brought the Emme 2 to a maximum level in terms of technical quality and finishing touches, with an increase in weight of just 90 gr. The maturity reached today from the Emme 2, pushes us to be proud to have one of the most complete and performing frame in the world.
