| Features | 1. Hollow Core Internal Molding Technology We build bicycles from the inside out. Our Hollow Core Molding Technology is a highly advanced system that eliminates the formation of bubbles or imperfections within the carbon. This innovative technology gives us the high level of control needed to precisely optimize the wall thickness in specific areas of the frame. This process, when combined with our proprietary F1 carbon blends, creates the perfect balance of light weight and rigidity. 2. Crankset BB386 EVO Increased torsional stiffness. Developed by BH in collaboration with FSA the BB386 EVO crankset is another technological innovation found on the Ultralight. This innovation allows for the oversizing of the bottom bracket enabling BH to increase the diameter of the downtube, thus reducing the wall thickness while increasing torsional stiffness by 166% and the rear triangle stiffness by 125%. 3. 1.5” tapered fork and headtube with integrated carbon races More stability and control. Constructed entirely in carbon, both the headtube and fork of the Utlralight feature in-molded carbon bearing races. The result is precise steering, increased lateral and torsional stiffness and a fork weighing only 300 grams. 4. Convertible internal cable routing Maximum protection, easy maintenance. All new internal cable routing easily converts for use with either electronic or mechanical systems. |
