The 2015 Bergamont Bicycles Contrail 8.0 is a mid-range trail bike. The light all-carbon frame is smoothly suspended front and back by Fox. Kit is excellently chosen, including a SRAM X drivetrain, cleanly shifting across the wide gearing, and Shimano's all-condition SLX hydraulic disc brakes for precise control in technical sections. The light, tough Alex rims are wrapped in Schwalbe high-traction all-terrain treads, offering a confident footprint.
