The 2017 Avanti Metro 1 is a town bike. Capable and comfortable, the Metro starts with a lightweight aluminum frame, step-through for easy on-and-off, with relaxed, upright seating. Componentry includes wide gearing, sure-stopping brakes, and tough, true alloy wheels, clad in broad pavement tires, blackwall, of course. The accessories bring the picture into sharp relief: full fenders and chainguard, a rear rack, and the piece de resistance, a front wicker basket.
