Avanti Giro AR 1 (2017)

The 2017 Avanti Giro AR 1 is a mid-range all-road bike. Starting with the Giro's aggressive geometry and highly responsive aluminum/carbon frameset, the AR expands its repertoire to include fire roads, gravel grinding, and the occasional trail. The Shimano Tiagra drivetrain now includes a wider cassette, with a low gear nearly 1:1; caliper rim brakes are replaced with Tektro's stalwart Lyra disc brakes, providing precise braking modulation in any conditions. Tires are fatter 28s, the larger volume providing a bit of cushion for the rough ride.
A good all-road bike.
