Avanti's very affordable Giro 2 is an ideal "first bike" for people new to the sport. It offers a lot of performance for the price. This bike features a lightweight alloy frame and a carbon fork for tight, precise handling. Shimano's rugged Claris components handle shifting tasks, and parts from Alex, Kenda, and Zero make for a competent entry level machine.
