The 2016 Avanti Competitor S1 is a mid-range full-suspension cross-country mountain bike. Kit is in the sweet spot between value and high performance: Shimano's Deore group is prevalent, populating the clean-shifting drivetrain, accompanied by a stiff FSA Comet crankset, and providing the hubs for the light, tough alloy wheelset, laced to Alex rims, inside the epic, mud-shedding, fast-rolling, grippy Kenda Honey Badger treads.
