The 2017 Avanti Black Thunder 7.2 is an entry-level mountain bike. Nicely equipped, the 7.2 has sure-stopping, all-condition disc brakes from Tektro, a wide-ranging 21-speed Shimano drivetrain, intuitive EZ-Fire trigger shifters, and tough alloy wheels inside fat knobby tires, ready for the trail. Beneath the quality kit is a sturdy, lightweight aluminum frame, matched with a short-travel Suntour suspension fork for smooth trips over tree root, rock or drop-off.
A good recreational mountain bike.
