Avanti Black Thunder 7.1 (2017)

The 2017 Avanti Black Thunder 7.1 is an entry-level mountain bike. A great introduction to off-roading, the Thunder is nicely equipped with all the trimmings: a suspension fork, full range of gears from Shimano, sure-stopping V-brakes, and a light, tough wheelset clad in fat knobby tires, the latest in MTB wheel sizes providing smooth-rolling obstacle-conquering fun. Newer riders will appreciate the grippy, broad platform pedals, providing secure footing and easy dabs.
