The 2014 Apollo Silhouette 30 WS is a mid-range road bike. The light, responsive aluminum frame is paired with a carbon-bladed fork for a fast, nimble ride, aggressive rider positioning offering a small profile. Kit is spot-on: dual-pivot calipers deliver precise braking control, and Shimano's 105 mix drivetrain offers quick, clean shifts, the compact crankset sendiing power efficiently. Smaller riders will feel right at home; the Silhouette is laid out with a slightly shorter top tube and a shallow-drop bar. Acceleration is immediate; the Sun Ringle rims are clad in very slim Hutchinson semi-slicks, keeping rolling weight to a minimum.
