Radio Bike Company Bike Parts & Accessories
The Radio Bike Company is a German manufacturer of complete BMX bikes, frames, forks, and bars. Radio focuses on freestyle, any freestyle, with the main line of 20"-wheeled traditional BMX complemented by small-wheel models and oversize dirt-jumpers. Exceptional attention to detail is visible in every bike, from the gorgeous top-end Astron to the young beginner's Dice.
Radio was started as a specialty brand by staff at Wethepeople. Impact was immediate; Radio bikes are now available throughout the world, with distribution on five continents. Radio now sponsors its own team of freestylers, also spanning the globe. Radio has established itself as a solid name in freestyle.
The main Radio line runs the gamut, from the modestly-priced, hi-ten framed Evol to the top-end all-4130 chromoly Comrad, all durable, responsive bikes with high-performance componentry, including Salt and Radio's own. Radio offers a select few parts, including front and top-load stems and an ace two-piece crankset.
Younger/smaller riders are well provided for with the Dice line, available in three wheel sizes, the smallest armed with a 15.75" top tube. Gear is comparable to the full-size models, with epic wheels, lacing Rookie hubs to Salt's Valori rims.
The dirt jump bikes are nicely spec'ed out, incorporating RST or Rock Shox forks, laid out with steeply sloping top tubes and out-of-the-way saddles, and rolling on Kenda's Small Block treads. Frame builds are comparable to Radio's freestyle bikes, from the modestly-priced hi-ten Fiend to the chromoly Griffin Pro.
Radio makes ace freestyle bikes. Check out your local BMX shop and find one to fit your riding style.
