Orbea MX 30 (29-inch) (2016)

The 2016 Orbea MX 30 is a beginner's mountain bike. With a modest pricetag and carefully selected kit, the MX 30 is a great introduction to the pleasures of the dirt. The aluminum frame is identical to that of the higher-end MX models, here paired with a Suntour suspension fork for a smooth ride. The Shimano mix drivetrain is very widely geared, the three-ring crankset meshing smoothly with a nine-speed cassette to offer something appropriate for anything from flatout speed to climbing the steepest inclines. The Kenda tires are multi-purpose, serving well on anything from mud to hardpack, or even pavement.
A good entry-level mountain bike.
