Moots Baxter 29 (2017)

The 2017 Moots Baxter 29 is a go-anywhere offroad-tough drop-bar bike. With its default build, the Baxter is a capable ride on practically any surface, from hardpack and mud to fire roads and winding dirt trails. The Salsa Woodchipper flare drop bar offers inherent control and stability, with well-balanced geometry for long-ride comfort. Kit is primarily Shimano's venerable, reliable XT group, with its clean, precise shifting and all-condition braking power. Populate the triple bottle mounts, fender and rack eyelets, swap the treads for fat pavement tires, and it's a long-distance road touring bike; exchange the forks for 100mm suspension and move to a flat bar, and it's a fast XC machine.
A very good on- and offroad bike.
