Its sleek carbon frame is profiled to minimize wind face, with smooth sides, minimal tire clearance, and a below-the-BB brake mount to keep turbulence low. The frame and aero seatpost are Di2 ready, should the rider ever wish to move away from the build's stalwart Shimano 105, one of the most reliable mechanical groupsets available. Merida's own 35mm-deep rims clad in 25mm Continental Ultra Sports offer exceptional acceleration and contribute to the overall aerodynamics.
