Malvern Star Sparkle 20 (2016)

The 2016 Malvern Star Sparkle 20 is a kid's bike. Intended for newer riders with some experience, the Sparkle is simply appointed, with a single gear and both hand and coaster brakes, offering an easy, intuitive ride for young riders who may just have mastered pedalling and are ready for more. The frame is functionally appealing, with a low standover height and easy upright seating, and visually appealing: the bright purple frame, matched by the chainguard and pedals, is complemented by teal rims and a white wicker basket. The multi-colored streamers match everything.
The Sparkle is safe and stalwart, enjoying adventures everywhere from grassy parks to quiet cul-de-sacs. A stem pad protects against spills, tires are lightly treaded for confidence-inducing secure footing, and the pedals are grippy plastic.
A very good 20" kid's bike, fun to ride and a sight to see.
