BENEFITS OF RIDING FIXED
When you ride a fixed-gear bike, the movement of your bike correlates to how much you pedal. With each push of the pedals, your bike moves with you. The motion of the rear wheel is linked to the motion of the pedals, which means in order to move you are always pedaling.
VERSATILITY IN A FLIP-FLOP HUB
If riding fixed seems like a daunting task or you simply prefer to ride on a normal single-speed bike, no problem! Each fixed-gear bike includes a flip-flop hub, so you can easily switch from fixed riding to coasting with a freewheel. This allows you to transform your fixie into a standard single-speed bike anytime you like. Simply remove the rear wheel, flip it around, and re-install it and you have yourself a bicycle you can coast on.
COMPONENT SET
We handpick every element that finds its way onto our bikes. Our Wanda tires are optimized for city riding—potholes and rough asphalt won’t be a problem. Every bike comes with a sealed bottom bracket, keeping moisture and dirt from causing problems. This is very advantageous because maintenance will be even easier. We’ve carefully selected Protek cranks, Sunrun freewheel, KMC chain, Well-Go pedals, and Promax brakes to make sure that your fixie bike will be dependable for many years to come.
