The new 980 gram frame of the Ultimate CF SL has most of the genes and almost every other feature of the Ultimate CF SLX high-end carbon racer, thus offering an excellent combination of low weight, rigidity, comfort and sportiness. The direct connection between the seat stays and the top tube gives the entire rear triangle extreme lateral rigidity whilst the top tube and new Maximus seat tube are also flattened for greater comfort. The interaction between the stiffer Press-Fit bottom bracket and the asymmetrical chain stays creates supreme performance. The lightweight One One Four SLX fork is a miracle of comfort.
This race fork has supreme lateral rigidity and its special carbon fibre layup and the seat stays mean that it can absorb hard impacts when riding over obstacles.
