Academy BMX Desire (2017)

The 2017 Academy Desire is a high-end BMX freestyle bike. A bit bigger than the average, the 21" top tube is roomy enough for taller riders, 9" tall high rise bars chosen to match. Frame, fork and bar are full chromoly, light, sturdy and resilient, quick on its feet, powerful on the takeoffs, and stalwart on the landings. Kit is commensurate, from the 990 U-brake and three-piece crankset to the beefy Wellgo pedals, a little thick but providing excellent grip.
