Academy BMX Aspire (2017)

The 2017 Academy Aspire is a mid-range BMX freestyle bike. Componentry is substantially Academy, including the 990-style brake with sticky clear pads, gearing, tubular chromoly crankset, and alloy hubs. The last are laced to tough alloy rims, providing a very sturdy platform for landings. Tires are broad, offering confidence-inspiring traction on the half-pipe. The frame is a mix of hi-tensile and chromoly, the latter applied to add strength and lighten the bike, making for a nimble ride. Available in a number of flashy color schemes; Academy does love chrome.
